SADAR: Early Depression Detection and Student Recommendation Website

09 January 2026

Overview of SADAR

SADAR is a website created as part of a Capstone Project to help students detect depression risk earlier based on completing a questionnaire. The answers are processed using a Machine Learning algorithm, and the system then displays the prediction category and appropriate educational recommendations so that users receive clearer guidance after performing the check.

What SADAR offers

SADAR is designed with a simple usage flow, making it easy for new users to understand. Users can fill out the questionnaire interactively, and the system then processes the answers through Machine Learning analysis to generate risk level predictions. After that, users receive relevant advice and educational recommendations. Login and history features are also provided so that users can review the analysis results they have previously performed.

Clear usage flow

The SADAR workflow is structured sequentially, starting from logging in or registering an account, filling out the questionnaire, the system performing the analysis process, and then users can view the analysis results and receive recommended advice. This flow helps users understand step-by-step without feeling confused.

SADAR was developed by students of class S1IF-10-08, Bachelor of Informatics, Telkom University Purwokerto: Rheznandya Arya Priatama, Rezky Arkan Syarif Pohan, Zein Bustaman Arif, Ridho Ismail, Ferdy Permana, and Muhammad Raditya Azanata.
