About the Program

S1 Informatics Engineering

The S1 Informatics Engineering study program was established in 2012 under the institution of Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Telematika Telkom (ST3 Telkom) Purwokerto. In its development, the S1 Informatics Engineering Study Program continues to transform in line with environmental developments, especially institutional changes. In 2017, ST3 Telkom Purwokerto changed to Institut Teknologi (IT) Telkom Purwokerto and finally became part of Telkom University Purwokerto (2024). The S1 Informatics Engineering Study Program continues to develop with a focus on digital talent, collaboration, and innovation in the field of informatics and information technology.   

The S1 Informatics Engineering Study Program has been accredited “VERY GOOD” based on LAM INFOKOM Accreditation Decree Number: 123/SK/LAM-INFOKOM/Ak/S/XII/2022, effective from December 18, 2022, to December 18, 2027.   

In the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the S1 Informatics Engineering Study Program is supported by Expertise Groups (KK) as clusters of lecturer expertise that function to foster and develop lecturers and also improve the quality of scientific knowledge. The S1 Informatics Engineering Study Program plays a greater role in program management for the implementation of the educational process, while the KK plays a role in research and community service carried out by lecturers and students.
